Overview

AWS / Kubernetes DevOps Engineer - Remote - Latin America at FullStack Labs.

This role involves joining our talent network to work with U.S. clients on flexible, project-based DevOps projects.

Responsibilities

You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

Support and deliver AWS / Kubernetes-based DevOps solutions, including CI / CD pipelines and cloud resource management.

Collaborate in a distributed Agile environment to meet project goals and timelines.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.

Advanced English is required.

Bachelor's degree (four-year college degree) is required.

Strong experience with Linux systems and tooling (kernel, shell, libraries, filesystems, client-server protocols).

Experience with Linux container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with public and private clouds : AWS and / or GCP (AWS preferred).

Understanding of cloud orchestration frameworks (Terraform, Kubernetes) and IT transformation.

Proficiency in Python or Bash.

Experience with Git-based CI / CD and software development lifecycle.

Networking knowledge : TCP / IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and load balancing.

Familiarity with distributed message buses (Kafka, Confluent).

Ability to troubleshoot, contribute to libraries, and work through challenging issues.

Ability to deliver continuous integration and delivery of applications.

Detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset and can-do attitude.

Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams and on large, complex systems.

Ability to take ownership and align with client goals and commitments.

Willingness to work 40 hours per week.
