We’re expanding our Data Platform Operations team and looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong Azure administration and software engineering skills.
This role combines operational excellence and development capability , supporting and enhancing enterprise data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize Azure resources : Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, AKS, Azure SQL, and Unity Catalog
Design, build, and maintain automation scripts, tools, and pipelines to improve platform reliability
Develop and enhance data workflows using Python, SQL, and CI / CD tools (Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and cost efficiency
Apply security and compliance best practices ( RBAC, access policies, MICS, SOC2 )
Provide L2 / L3 support for data and analytics services, ensuring timely and effective incident resolution
Collaborate closely with data engineers, BI developers, and cloud architects to deliver robust, scalable solutions
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineering, Administration, or SRE
Strong hands-on skills with Databricks, ADF, AKS, Airflow, Azure SQL, and Unity Catalog
Proven experience in software development and automation (Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform)
Familiarity with DevOps, CI / CD, and software lifecycle management
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred certifications : AZ-104, Databricks Administration, ITIL Foundation
