Linux Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Linux System Engineer to join our team.

This role requires a strong background in Red Hat and Oracle Linux system administration, automation with Ansible, as well as deep expertise in Linux patching, scripting, and GIT version control.Design, implement, and manage Linux system infrastructure, primarily Red Hat and Oracle Linux.Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and deployment automation.Perform advanced Linux patching, security updates, and OS hardening.Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks.Administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to ensure consistent environments.Manage source code and configuration using GIT repositories.Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using industry-standard tools.Document processes, system changes, and configurations.Key Responsibilities : Implement and manage high-quality Linux system infrastructure.Create, maintain, and optimize Ansible-based automation solutions.Maintain robust security and compliance standards.Ensure efficient system performance and reliability.Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing across teams.Qualifications : 8+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Linux).

Strong proficiency in Ansible, including custom module development and troubleshooting.Advanced bash scripting skills for automation and system tasks.Proficient in GIT for version control and collaboration.Experience with Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning and patch management.Deep understanding of Linux patching strategies, kernel upgrades, and OS lifecycle management.Experience working in secure, enterprise IT environments.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
