Cloud Developer Specialist

Cloud Developer OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled cloud developer to support and develop new tools and processes for our private cloud application.This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the primary language.Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality solutions and code, with a focus on unit testing and improving the software development life cycle.

The successful candidate will also investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration.Additionally, this role requires participation in agile software development, working collaboratively with a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant / carrier-grade development.Essential skills for this position include solid backend development skills, preferably in Python.

Knowledge of Linux Essentials is also required, including hardware, processes, programs, and Linux Operating System components.Familiarity with command-line interfaces and file management, as well as experience with system security, users / groups, and file permissions, is necessary.

Ability to create and run simple scripts is also essential.Strong computer networking knowledge, including TCP / UDP layers, is required, along with understanding of cloud computing concepts.

Experience collaborating with remote teams and Senior Technical Leaders is also necessary.Proficiency with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools is expected, as well as experience with container technologies, such as Docker and Linux Containers.

Knowledge of Kubernetes Cluster Administration is also required.
