Senior Cloud Infrastructure Developer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a high-performing engineer to support and develop new tools and processes for our on-prem private cloud application.The ideal candidate will have experience communicating technical concepts, facilitating discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, providing project updates, and mentoring team members.Develop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the main programming language;Deliver high-quality solutions and code;Develop unit tests to improve the SDLC;Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Participate in agile software development processes;Collaborate with a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant / carrier-grade development;Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform for deploying private cloud platforms worldwide.Essential SkillsTo be successful in this role, you must have : Solid backend developer experience, preferably in Python;Knowledge of Linux Essentials, including hardware, processes, programs, and Linux components;Experience working on the command line and with files;Understanding system security, users / groups, and file permissions;Ability to create and run simple scripts;Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers;Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones;Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Experience with container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes;Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration.Desirable SkillsThe following skills are not essential but would be beneficial : Experience with Kubernetes App Development;Experience with PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ as a developer.About Our CompanyWe are a leading digital engineering and modernization partner for enterprises and digital native companies.
