Senior Backend Developer

Job Title : Senior Backend Developer – Google Ads API Company : adMixt (eCommerce Performance Marketing Agency) Location : Remote Description : adMixt is hiring a Senior Backend Developer with deep, hands-on experience integrating Google Ads API.

This is a senior-level role for someone who has spent years working directly with Google Ads and eCommerce systems to build robust, scalable backend advertising solutions.

Responsibilities : Develop and maintain API integrations with Google Ads Work with related APIs such as Shopify, Google Analytics, and attribution platforms Build data pipelines that enable reporting, attribution, and optimization across channels Collaborate with analysts and media buyers to turn business needs into backend systems Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code and implement error handling and logging Maintain and optimize legacy PHP systems, with potential to expand into other technologies Requirements : Strong experience working with the Google Ads API and similar platforms Expertise in PHP (especially procedural codebases); experience with other backend languages is a plus 5+ years backend development experience, ideally with a focus on marketing and analytics integrations Familiarity with Shopify, Google Analytics, and eCommerce data flows Ability to write reliable, efficient API clients and manage authentication / token flows Strong debugging, documentation, and version control practices If you're passionate about connecting data across platforms and building infrastructure that drives high-impact marketing decisions, we'd love to talk.
