The Opportunity
As a Leasing Director, you will lead revenue performance across a portfolio of 12–16 WeWork buildings, managing large, complex office transactions and developing a high-performing team of Leasing Managers responsible for mid-market deals. You will be the commercial heartbeat of your market, combining market insight, deal-making excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver individual and team success. This is a strategic, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about coaching others to succeed.
What You’ll Do
As a Leasing Director, you’ll lead from the front as both a top-performing salesperson and a strategic leader of a high-impact team. This player-coach role blends direct deal execution with leadership, mentorship, and market strategy.
Strategic Sales Execution
- Own the full sales cycle for new and renewing members in 50+ person office spaces—from sourcing and pitching through to touring, negotiating, and contract execution.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of large and upper mid-market leads.
- Partner closely with the Broker Development team and the Accounts teams to unlock market demand and coordinate territory-wide outreach.
- Use market and asset data to structure high-impact deals that align with WeWork’s underwriting and long-term financial goals.
Market, Portfolio & Product Expertise
Serve as a subject matter expert on your assigned market—tracking tenant movements, pricing trends, competitor activity, and macroeconomic shifts.Maintain a deep understanding of your buildings' financial performance, occupancy strategy, and opportunities for optimization.Champion WeWork’s product and platform value proposition, and ensure cross-functional collaboration across Community, Operations, and Facilities teams to deliver seamless member experiences.Structure deals in line with asset strategies and portfolio positioning, maximizing value across both renewals and new business.Team Leadership & Development
Lead and develop a team of Leasing Managers, holding them accountable for direct sales of 50+ person offices and individual pipeline management.Ensure Leasing Managers are equipped with deep knowledge of their buildings, pricing, WeWork’s product, and business strategy.Provide coaching, structured feedback, and ongoing development conversations with each team member to support performance, engagement, and career progression.Create systems, tools, and operating rhythms to empower your team to deliver results autonomously and consistently.What Success Looks Like

5–7 years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience, including 2+ years managing sales teams.A track record of closing large, complex deals with C-level stakeholders or enterprise clients.Strong knowledge of the local market, with a preference for someone with established broker relationships.Commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred.Fluency with Salesforce and sales analytics tools; comfortable making data-driven decisions.Strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and skilled problem solver.Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and ownership.Life at WeWork
