The Role
We're seeking a talented mid-level Platform Engineer (DevOps Engineer) to join our infrastructure team. While we prefer candidates who can work from our office for better collaboration and team integration, we also offer remote work flexibility. You'll be instrumental in building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and automation systems that power our global payment platform. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical infrastructure that supports billions in transaction volume and ensures 24 / 7 availability for our financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to support high-volume financial transactions
- Build and manage CI / CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software deployments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for consistent, reproducible environments
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability
- Automate operational tasks and improve deployment processes to increase team efficiency
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
- Ensure security best practices across all infrastructure components
- Participate in on-call rotation to maintain 24 / 7 system availability
- Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in production environments
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering rolesStrong problem-solving skills and systematic approach to troubleshootingAbility to work independently whether in office or remote settingsPassion for automation, reliability, and operational excellenceInterest in financial technology and innovationPJ (Pessoa Jurídica) registration or willingness to obtainRequired Technical Skills
Cloud Platforms : Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS / EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)Container Orchestration : Proven expertise with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)Infrastructure as Code : Proficiency with Terraform for managing cloud resourcesCI / CD : Experience building and maintaining pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)Scripting : Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languagesContainerization : Solid understanding of Docker and container best practicesNetworking : Understanding of networking concepts, load balancers, DNS, and security groupsMonitoring & Observability : Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatchVersion Control : Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflowsBasic English proficiency (required for documentation and team communication)Nice-to-Have Technical Skills
