Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Demand Gen / YouTube Media Buyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale YouTube campaigns, with hands-on experience spending at least $100k / month on the platform within the last 12 months. This role involves end-to-end ownership of ad account performance, emphasizing scaling cold traffic through broad audiences, while collaborating with strategists and creative teams to optimize for leads and purchases. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize YouTube ad accounts end-to-end, focusing on Demand Gen campaigns for lead gen or ecommerce, with a strong emphasis on scaling cold traffic via broad audiences.
- Handle large budgets (over $200k / month), including testing, scaling, and strategizing campaigns both within the ad platform and through external tactics.
- Utilize Demand Gen static ads to drive performance, avoiding remarketing or view-based campaigns.
- Collaborate with a dedicated strategist responsible for writing, designing, and conceptualizing new static ads, advertorials, and scripts.
- Leverage access to a full creative team and creative strategist on select accounts to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Analyze performance data, iterate on strategies, and ensure campaigns meet or exceed KPIs for leads or purchases.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in YouTube advertising and Demand Gen to inform innovative approaches.
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience spending at least $200k / month on YouTube within the last 12 months.Demonstrated success in optimizing lead gen or ecommerce campaigns for leads or purchases, with budgets exceeding $100k / month in the past year.Expertise in Demand Gen static ads and large-scale budget management.Strong skills in scaling, testing, and strategizing campaigns inside and outside the ad account.Focus on cold traffic and broad audiences; no emphasis on remarketing or view-based strategies.Ability to work independently in a high-performance, non-traditional environment— we are not seeking a standard 9-5 employee but someone in the top 1% who deeply understands media buying.Self-sustaining mindset with a drive to maximize earnings through performance-based opportunities.Preferred Skills and Bonuses
