SAP SD Consultant

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP SD Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ECC environments, business process analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English, possess hands‑on experience across the full lifecycle of SAP implementations, and be capable of supporting and optimizing Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) processes in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Functional Expertise

• Participate in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation (preferably in a business-facing role).
• Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP SD and related peer applications.
• Identify functional gaps and collaborate with technical teams to create and review functional specifications.
• Support Product Supply requirements ensuring proper SAP configuration, development, and interface alignment (EDI, SAP PO, 3PL, etc.).
• Work closely with business groups and developers to support, design, and enhance critical applications within SAP ECC 6.0 and integrated systems.

Business Process & System Analysis

• Conduct business process analysis, documentation, and presentation.
• Translate end-user requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Re-engineer business processes when necessary to drive efficiency.
• Document process flows, requirements, design specifications, testing plans, and quality assurance outputs.
• Coordinate and assist with system conversions and data migration activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) with the India SAP support team.
• Collaborate with local and international teams across Order Management, Physical Distribution, and other functional areas.
• Assist key users in managing Work Requests (developments, enhancements, production support) including:
• Initial assessment
• Determining need for internal/external assistance
• Following standard procedures for cross-team collaboration

Systems Support & Testing

• Troubleshoot and resolve transactional issues with internal users, customers, and EDI vendors.
• Lead and participate in integrated system testing ensuring business requirements are met.
• Conduct and coordinate user training, documentation, and validation activities.
• Ensure high-quality procedures, processes, and guidelines across deliverables.

Project & Work Management

• Manage project-related tasks, work request planning, and scheduling.
• Assist reporting managers with work prioritization and status updates in the Work Request Database.
• Support development, enhancement, and production support efforts across business-critical SAP functions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual English – mandatory.
• Proven experience in SAP SD with strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0, EDI integrations, SAP Process Orchestration, and related interfaces.
• Solid background in system analysis, configuration, and functional specification development.
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Experience working in self-directed environments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and guide users through process and system changes.
• Strong documentation skills (requirements, specs, testing, QA).

Working Time

• Must be available to work aligned with Client EST hours , considering the BRT time zone .
