Responsibilities

• Inspections and prevention : Promote inspections at work sites, identify dangerous conditions and take actions to eliminate risks; train and raise awareness among employees about safe attitudes and high-risk activities.
• Programs and training : Prepare and promote campaigns, presentations and trainings, including onboarding for new employees; develop programs to raise awareness and disseminate internal safety standards; prepare training programs for onboarding and routine development with a preventive mindset; support SIPAT by organizing activities and resources (NR–5).
• Collaboration with CIPA and accident analysis : Collaborate with CIPA, reviewing observations and proposals to adopt corrective and preventive solutions; collect and study statistics on accidents and occupational diseases, analyzing causes and severity to propose preventive measures; evaluate accident cases and accompany the injured to appropriate medical care.
• Regulatory compliance and standards : Assist in compliance with Regulatory Standards, OHSAS 18001 and other legal requirements (Portaria 3214 / 1978); interpret and implement procedures related to regulatory standards.
• Emergency response and fire fighting : Coordinate actions of the fire brigade, including training and regular and extraordinary meetings; ensure periodic inspections and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment (IT 17 / 2011 and NR 23).
• SGI management (Integrated Management System) : Act in accordance with the policy, objectives and targets of the SGI; ensure that third parties on site meet SGI requirements; assist in drafting Special Work Permits and Labor Assessments; suggest improvements and report SGI nonconformities.
• Environment and occupational health : Understand environmental aspects and significant impacts, as well as unacceptable hazards and risks; participate in mitigating environmental accidents and occupational health and safety.
