Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview : This position serves as the key financial partner to our South America business, providing strategic insights and driving decision-making.The successful candidate will transform financial data into actionable intelligence, deliver clear financial outlooks, and support commercial growth through operational efficiency improvements.Key responsibilities include : Financial Analysis & InsightsCollaborate with regional leadership to provide financial analysis, trends, and recommendations that inform strategic decisions.Develop meaningful narratives from financial data to enhance business understanding for non-finance stakeholders.Lead the creation and presentation of KPI dashboards and business reports to monitor performance.Identify risks and opportunities, supporting business leaders in informed decision-making.Budgeting, Forecasting & PlanningManage the budget and forecasting process, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow planning.Deliver clear variance analysis and commentary, highlighting drivers of performance gaps and proposing corrective actions.Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess potential business risks and opportunities.Develop financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and strategic planning.Process Improvement & Systems OptimizationStreamline financial processes, ensuring efficiency and automation where possible.Enhance data accuracy and reporting speed through financial system improvements.Drive initiatives that promote standardisation and efficiency across regions.Stakeholder Management & LeadershipRepresent the finance team in cross-functional meetings, ensuring financial considerations are embedded in decision-making.Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and global finance teams, ensuring alignment with group strategy.Support senior leadership with clear and concise financial presentations and insights.Reporting & Performance AnalysisConsolidate and provide commentary for monthly financial reports, ensuring leadership understands key trends.Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reports to support business initiatives.Requirements : Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields;Experience in financial planning and analysis;Experience in budgeting and performance tracking;Knowledge of financial modeling for case studies;Fluency in English;Advanced Excel skills.Desirable : Residency in Rio de Janeiro or nearby areas;Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and / or financial planning and analysis;Advanced Spanish is a plus;Experience with financial reporting in multinational companies;Strong skills in cost analysis and control.
