Data & Insights Analyst

The squad is responsible for developing analytics, AI, and machine learning products at Pismo.

We are the team that supports the company's data-driven decision-making and enables other teams to work effectively with data.What you'll doDesign, build and maintain scalable and automated data pipelinesSupport analytics and machine learning workflows across different teamsImplement and manage infrastructure as code using TerraformEnsure data quality, security, and governance throughout our systemsOptimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to model data for business intelligence and strategic insightsOrchestrate data pipelines using tools like AirflowThis is a remote position.

Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.For this role, you must be based in BrazilLanguage Skills : Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate)Technical Skills : Advanced SQL skills for manipulating and analyzing large-scale datasetsProficiency in Python focused on automation, data analysis, and API integrationsStrong experience with Databricks, including notebooks, Delta Lake, and integrationsSolid knowledge of AWS services : Glue (serverless ETL)Athena (serverless SQL queries)S3 (data storage)Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as codeProficient in Git for version control and team collaborationStrong understanding of BI and data modeling for visualization and strategic analysisExperience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)Background working with high-volume data and performance-focused environmentsFamiliarity with modern data architecture (e.g., Data Lakehouse, medallion architecture)Nice to haveExperience with Machine Learning and AI tools such as : AWS Bedrock (generative and foundational models)AWS SageMaker (ML model creation, training, and deployment)Knowledge of DataOps practices and CI / CD pipelines for data workflowsVisa is an EEO Employer.
