What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions
Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries and fostering a positive workplace culture
Ensure company policies are effectively communicated and adhered to, overseeing compliance issues
Assist with payroll accuracy, benefits enrollment, and employee-related inquiries
Lead initiatives that enhance employee experience, recognition, and engagement
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HR operations, employee relations, or a similar role
Experience working with unionized employee populations and understanding of collective bargaining agreements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working with unions is a plus
Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible in adapting to changing needs
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.)
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
