You will be based in the client's Security Operations team, and contributing to international geopolitical and security analysis, risk assessments and advisory services.You will be responsible for providing tailored tactical and strategic intelligence analysis and consulting to the client as part of a tight-knit team.

You will be monitoring, analysing and advising the client on adverse developments that could affect the safety, security, operational continuity and reputation of the business.

Such developments include but are not limited to political instability and unrest, crime, terrorism, governance risks and cyber threats.This is an onsite role at the client's Sao Paulo office, working Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm, with the potential to work remotely one day a week.

There may be an occasional need to work out-of-hours during emergencies and time-sensitive matters.ResponsibilitiesMonitor online sources to gather and analyse information that could impact the client's people, assets, operations and reputation, with a particular focus on the LATAM regionUtilise all available resources - including open sources and vendor feeds - to create tailored, high-impact, actionable insights and recommendationsDeliver regular intelligence products to forecast tactical and strategic risks in key locations, and provide ad hoc geopolitical analysis in response to world eventsDisplay innovation, implementing the latest techniques, tools and best practices to support a global intelligence functionBrief executives as needed on key developments, trends and contentProvide situational updates to senior stakeholders during incidents / crisesBuild and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholdersSupport the incident management function as needed, in accordance with established SOPs for escalation and after-action reviewsPerform any other reasonable tasks requested by the clientRequirementsExperience, knowledge and interest in current affairs, international relations and emerging security threats, with expertise in political and security dynamics in Latin America2-3 years of experience working in a corporate security setting or similar public or private sector environmentsAbility to research and sift through large amounts of information to produce concise, insightful and actionable analysis and insights in accordance with tight deadlinesAbility to prioritise and manage multiple scheduled tasks, requests and sources of information in an organised way and under minimal guidanceAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamExcellent English written and spoken communication skills, with a high attention to detailStrong problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilitiesDeep interest and broad understanding of world affairsFluent Portuguese or Spanish requiredMust have the right to work in BrazilNice to haveUndergraduate or Postgraduate qualifications in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics or other related disciplines, or equivalent professional experiencePrevious exposure to corporate security teamsExperience in data analysis and visualisationInterview ProcessInitial call with our Talent Acquisition team memberTimed written assessment (arranged at a time that suits you) to test writing and analytical capabilityPanel interview with some of the team members and hiring managers at SibyllineMeet and Greet with the clientResearch indicates that certain groups are less likely to apply for a position unless they meet every single requirement.
