High-Performance Cloud Platform Developer

Job Summary : We are seeking a seasoned high-performing Python developer to join our team in developing new tools and processes for an on-prem private cloud application.About the RoleWe need someone with excellent technical skills to collaborate with stakeholders, provide project updates and mentor team members.The ideal candidate will have experience working with high performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the main programming language.Responsibilities include developing high-quality solutions and code, unit tests, improving SDLC, investigating and resolving issues reported during testing and customer integration.We're looking for someone who can actively participate in all aspects of an agile software development process.The team is focused on containerization, virtualization and fault tolerant / carrier grade development.You will contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy private cloud platforms aimed at 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Essential SkillsSolid backend development skills preferably but not restricted to Python.Linux Essentials knowledge including concepts of hardware, processes, programs and components of the Linux Operating System.Familiarity with the command line and file management.Ability to create and restore compressed backups and archives.System security : users / groups and file permissions for public and private directories.Basic scripting skills.Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers.Cloud computing concepts experience.Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones.Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab and code review tools.Container technologies like Docker, Linux Containers etc.Kubernetes Cluster Administration experience.BenefitsThis role offers opportunities for professional growth and development, collaboration with senior leaders, and experience with cutting-edge technologies.About UsWe are a leading provider of digital engineering and modernization services.
