ResponsibilitiesThe Analytics Engineer Tech Lead - Regulatory Reporting ensures the accuracy, compliance, and continuous evolution of regulatory reports (e.g., CADOCs) through advanced data modeling, extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python, Databricks, Redshift, Qlik Sense, and other internal tools.

This role acts as a bridge between Data Engineering, Analytics, Compliance, Finance, and Product teams, ensuring that data products are scalable, standardized, and drive strategic insights across the organization.

The specialist must proactively adapt reporting frameworks to evolving BACEN regulations while also leading initiatives to democratize data access, foster data governance, and promote excellence in data storytelling and analytical methodologies.Lead the design and architecture of analytical data models focused on performance, scalability, and regulatory compliancePerform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python, and Databricks to support accurate and timely regulatory reportingAnalyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and ensure alignment with BACEN regulatory requirementsDesign, build, and oversee strategic dashboards and analytical layers serving multiple business areas and organizational levels, mainly using Qlik Sense and other visualization toolsContinuously optimize data models and dashboards for maintainability and scalabilityEnsure the standardization, governance, and versioning (Git) of all analytical solutionsPromote best practices for data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in regulatory and business reportingDrive initiatives to automate analytics processes and increase self-service capabilities across business unitsAct as a trusted data advisor for Compliance, Finance, Accounting, and Product teams, supporting KPI definitions, advanced analytics, and decision-making frameworksWork closely with Data Engineering, Product, and Technology teams to integrate data solutions into digital products, operational processes, and business strategiesDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to track data quality, reporting performance, regulatory KPIs, and adapt promptly to new norms and directivesProactively monitor trends in data analysis and propose innovations to enhance the analytics ecosystemMentor and upskill Analytics professionals, fostering technical growth, consistency in methodologies, and excellence in data storytelling practicesDemonstrate autonomy, proactivity, and ownership to deliver high-quality results, meeting regulatory deadlines and evolving business needsRequirementsExperience in the financial sector, preferably in regulatory reporting, finance products, fintechs, or financial ecosystemsExperience in data analytics using Databricks, SQL, and PythonProven experience designing and optimizing analytical data models and scalable dashboardsSolid background in BI and dataviz tools (Qlik Sense preferred; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus)Strong understanding of data governance, versioning using Git, and management of analytical solutionsExperience integrating data into digital products, business processes, and strategiesAbility to translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and impactful data solutionsStrong mathematical and financial knowledge is a plusKnowledge of Spark and Databricks advanced functionalities is a plusExcellent communication and data storytelling skills to influence strategic decision-makingStrong leadership skills to mentor Analytics teams and promote a data-driven cultureEnglish or Spanish proficiency is a plusBenefitsCompetitive and market-aligned salaryRemote work — wherever you are, you're part of the team!
