ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a MuleSoft Developer to own the Java/MuleSoft integration layer connecting Salesforce Service Cloud to upstream and downstream systems. This person builds and maintains API integrations, message routing, and data synchronization that power case creation and orchestration. Production troubleshooting, incident support, and on-call rotation are part of the role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Own and maintain the Java/MuleSoft integration layer connecting Salesforce Service Cloud to the upstream and downstream systems that support the Case object lifecycle.

- Contribute to active engineering efforts across internally owned daemons and MuleSoft capabilities, with a focus on the integration layer.

- Support stakeholders and their reps in Service Cloud, partnering with internal teams on integration-related issues affecting Cases and case workflows.

- Diagnose and resolve API/integration failures impacting downstream Salesforce Service Cloud processes.

- Participate in the DFR (Developer First Responder) rotation and Ops Review process as a core, non-optional responsibility.

- Triage critical alerts related to integration/API health and monitor platform health KPIs for MuleSoft/Java services.

- Handle "keep-the-lights-on" injects, track open incidents, and document findings in Confluence.

- Keep sprint data current, including availability, carryover, and newly assigned points.

- Maintain transparency on work status via tickets, standup, and Slack; follow established engineering and DevOps processes; collaborate effectively across the team and partner teams; and complete assigned work reliably and on schedule.

MUST HAVES

- 3-5 years of experience as a software developer.

- Experience with Java.

- Experience with MuleSoft.

- Mid-level software engineering experience.

- Hands-on API integration experience.

- Enterprise integration/middleware experience.

- Production troubleshooting and incident support experience.

- Experience building and maintaining integrations.

- Experience diagnosing and resolving API/integration failures.

- Experience with production monitoring, alert triage, and platform/service health.

- Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

- Salesforce Service Cloud integration experience.

- Message-based or asynchronous integration experience.

- Data synchronization / data transformation experience.

- CI/CD and DevOps experience.
