HR Manager, Brazil

What you'll do

As the HR Manager for Brazil, you will support ANTA Group's business expansion in Brazil by providing hands-on HR support and managing day-to-day local HR operations. You will work closely with business leaders to support store openings, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and other local HR matters, helping establish a practical and compliant HR foundation as the business grows.

In this role, you will:

• Support the launch and expansion of ANTA's business in Brazil, including HR-related preparation and execution for new store openings and other business initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for local teams, including store employees and corporate roles, and ensure timely hiring to support business growth.
• Manage local compensation and benefits matters, including salary benchmarking, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and other employee-related payments.
• Handle day-to-day employee relations and HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, leave, attendance, and other local HR matters.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian employment requirements and support the management of local labor, visa/work permit, and employment-related matters.
• Work closely with business leaders and external partners to solve practical HR issues and ensure smooth local operations.
• Support the development and implementation of local HR policies, processes, and systems as the business grows.
• Maintain accurate HR data and provide regular headcount, recruitment, compensation, and other HR reports.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of HR experience, with solid experience in HR generalist, HR operations, or HRBP roles.
• Strong familiarity with the Brazilian local market, employment practices, and HR operations; experience working independently in Brazil is highly preferred.
• Experience in retail, consumer, apparel, footwear, or other multi-site / store-based businesses is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations.
• Experience supporting new store openings, business expansion, organizational setup, or other fast-growing business environments is a strong plus.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle practical HR matters independently and work in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with local employees, business leaders, and external partners.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is required. Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
• Familiarity with Brazilian employment law and local HR practices is required.

Travel

This role is based in Brazil and may require occasional travel within Brazil and to ANTA Group's global headquarters based on business needs.
