The Role

We're looking for a Senior AI & Automation Engineer to help shape the next generation of intelligent automation and Agentic AI solutions. This role combines software engineering, data automation, workflow orchestration, and Generative AI, with a strong focus on turning complex operational processes into intelligent, scalable, and industrialized solutions.

Your Mission:

Intelligent Automation: Design and develop advanced automation solutions using the Dataiku platform, combining data pipelines, workflows, application integrations, and AI capabilities.

Agentic AI Development: Build intelligent workflows around AI agents and LLMs, leveraging Dataiku LLM Mesh to bring language models into real-world automated processes.

Workflow & Data Orchestration: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and automated workflows, ensuring seamless coordination between data, applications, and AI components.

Integration & Industrialization: Connect automation solutions with existing IT ecosystems through APIs and application services while implementing robust practices for deployment, monitoring, version control, and governance.

Platform Evolution: Contribute to the development of the Smart Automation & Agentic AI capability by defining technical standards, improving engineering practices, and helping industrialize new automation patterns.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to other developers, mentor junior profiles, and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to solve complex automation challenges.

What We Are Looking For:

Dataiku Expertise: Experience across software development, process automation, data engineering, or data automation, with strong hands-on expertise in the Dataiku platform.

Generative AI: Practical experience integrating LLMs through Dataiku LLM Mesh, with a strong understanding of prompt engineering, contextualization, instructions, and constraints.

Automation & Development: Strong Python skills combined with experience in data pipelines, workflow automation, API integration, and process orchestration.

Engineering Practices: Solid knowledge of Git, CI/CD, DevOps practices, deployment automation, and software development best practices.

Cloud & Integration: Experience working with APIs, application services, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Communication: Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

This position requires availability to relocate to Portugal
