About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Transcription Reviewer with strong Brazilian Portuguese and English skills to support AI and machine learning projects.

You will listen to Brazilian Portuguese audio recordings and review AI-generated transcripts for accuracy grammar punctuation formatting readability and context. The role requires excellent listening and language skills strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Brazilian Portuguese audio against AI-generated transcripts.
• Correct transcription spelling grammar punctuation capitalization and formatting errors.
• Ensure transcripts accurately reflect the original audio and context.
• Identify unclear audio omissions inconsistencies and linguistic errors.
• Follow project-specific transcription and quality guidelines.
• Review completed work for accuracy before submission.
• Meet required productivity and turnaround expectations.
• Apply quality feedback and communicate issues to the project team.
• Maintain confidentiality of project recordings and materials.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Brazilian Portuguese proficiency.
• Fluent English proficiency for project instructions and communication.
• Excellent Portuguese grammar spelling punctuation and proofreading skills.
• Strong listening and reading comprehension.
• Ability to understand different Brazilian Portuguese accents and speech patterns.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and work independently.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable work environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use online platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

• Transcription or transcription review
• Proofreading or editing
• Translation or localization
• Linguistics or language instruction
• Journalism or communications
• Captioning or subtitle review
• Quality assurance or content review
• AI speech or language-related projects

Previous experience is preferred but not required if you can demonstrate strong language listening and proofreading skills.
