Lead Enterprise Java Engineering for Global Financial Services

The Professional We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly experienced Java technical leader with deep expertise in enterprise software engineering, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems.

The ideal candidate combines outstanding technical skills with leadership capabilities, guiding engineering teams while actively contributing to software architecture, development, code quality, and continuous improvement.

You should be comfortable working with international teams, mentoring engineers, and making strategic technical decisions in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance Java applications.
• Ensure adherence to software architecture standards, coding best practices, security, and software quality.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for distributed engineering teams.
• Design and implement solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Translate complex business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident resolution.
• Establish development standards, engineering governance, and technical best practices.
• Mentor software engineers and promote technical growth across the team.
• Support mission-critical software deliveries while ensuring quality, scalability, and resilience.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of enterprise architecture within a Financial Services environment.

Education

✔ Bachelor's Degree in:

• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• or a related field

Mandatory Experience

• English C1/C2 (Advanced/Fluent) with the ability to communicate confidently in international environments.
• Proven experience as a Java Tech Lead or Senior Java Developer in large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience developing scalable, resilient, and high-performance Java applications.
• Advanced knowledge of:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• Practical experience with AWS Cloud.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Enterprise software architecture experience.
• Experience leading distributed or global engineering teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.

• Hands-on software engineering and technical leadership experience.
