Job Title: A2R DS Team Sr Analyst

This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team in the GS Finance Accounting process area. The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class cost-effective financial services and compliancein a J&J wayto our Operating Companies around the world.

The GSF accounting team is responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for all transactions. This includes but is not limited to creating the Sales and corresponding Purchase orders reconciling out of balances monitoring ageing and performing balance sheet reconciliations.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as required and other customary conditions and approvals. It is anticipated that following conclusion of the transaction this position may be conveyed with New Orthopaedics that case details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Orthopaedics at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo

Maintain Operational Excellence

• Responsible for leading of accounting and daily operations for GSF Accounting process areas.
• Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments fully observing Compliance Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
• Accountable for completeness accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
• Deep expertise fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.
• Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
• On the job training for new team members / BPO partners.
• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.
• Understand adhere and execute per worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place in order to achieve adequate internal and external audit ratings.

3. Talent Management

• Attract onboard and training of team members.

4. Be a Trusted Business Partner

• Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy.
• Support Process Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Operational Key Contacts (OKCs) to ensure cross sector cross region and cross process alignment ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach.

5. Create Game-Changing Innovation

• Generate ideas fosters and implements continuous improvement mindset identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.
• Execute process improvements generating ideas and implementing in line with global standards.

Qualifications
Education:

Minimum Bachelors level degree in Accounting Finance or related business discipline

REQUIRED:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a Shared Service or BPO organization.
• Experience in participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Experience in Account to Report or General Accounting process
• Successfully manage multiple priorities be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders.
• Open to new ideas rapid change and embracing new technologies.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations demonstrating a pragmatic approach.

PREFERRED:

• Education: CPA CMA MBA and/or other financial certification
• Supervisory experience
• Experience in migration of work.
• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Digital/ intelligent automation capabilities.

Others

• Open to work in flexible shifts to align with global or regional responsibilities (Americas / EMEA / Asia)
• Will lead or participate in Regional/ Global/ Cross functional duties as assigned.
• Fluent in English other language skills desirable.
