About Crown

Crown Digital is a regulated Brazilian VASP building the infrastructure layer for BRL-denominated digital assets. We issue BRLV — a 1:1 BRL payment stablecoin backed by federal Brazilian treasury bonds (LFTs) — and operate the reserve, custody, and settlement infrastructure behind it. Alongside it we run an active FX and stablecoin desk that moves real institutional flow. We're regulated, audited, and building for institutions and fintechs.

We're backed by Paradigm, Framework, Valor, Norte, Coinbase Ventures, Paxos, and Nubank co-founder Ed Wible, with a goal of R$1 trillion of BRLV in circulation within a decade.

Why this internship exists

Crown's trading desk is growing fast — across FX, stablecoins, and the treasury reserve that backs BRLV — and we're opening a seat for an intern to learn the desk from the ground up. The executive team owns the strategy, thesis, and risk; senior traders own the book. You'll support them day to day, take on real tasks under close supervision, and build the foundations of a trading career. It's a rare early entry point: hands-on from week one, learning directly from the people running the firm.

This is a learning seat, not a solo-execution or portfolio role. Everything you do runs alongside a supervising trader.

What you'll do and learn

• Support execution of Crown's FX and stablecoin flow — spot, forward, and on-chain settlement — helping the desk move accurately and with minimal slippage, always under a trader's supervision.
• Help track the BRLV reserve — learn how the LFT (Tesouro Selic) portfolio backs BRLV 1:1 and how the book is sized to mint and burn flow.
• Monitor intraday risk and positions, flag when something looks off, and learn how the desk hedges FX exposure as flow comes in.
• Learn the cost-basis arbitrage — how the desk works the USDC cost basis to lift P&L and quote more competitively.
• Watch markets, liquidity, and counterparties across venues, and surface what you notice to the desk.
• Help reconcile trades with the back office and keep precise records — precision is the first thing you'll master.

You'll start by shadowing and supporting, and earn more hands-on responsibility as you prove yourself.

What we're looking for

Must-haves

• Currently enrolled in a degree — economics, finance, engineering, math, or similar — with time left before graduation and available for an internship (estágio).
• Sharp with numbers and fast on your feet: you reason through sizing, risk, and simple unit economics quickly — and learn even faster.
• Precise and disciplined. You don't fat-finger, and you understand that a wrong wire, address, or network can be unrecoverable.
• Driven and coachable: you take feedback well, move quickly, and are eager to earn responsibility.
• Fluent in Portuguese and conversational-to-fluent in English.

Signals we value

• You follow markets closely and trade your own book — crypto, FX, or equities — out of genuine interest.
• Familiarity with crypto and stablecoins (USDC), on-chain transfers, and venue liquidity (e.g., Binance).
• Some exposure to markets already — a prior internship, a trading club, a câmbio/FX, fixed-income, or crypto/OTC desk, or your own serious trading.
• Working knowledge of Brazilian market structure (B3, futures, SELIC system).
• Familiarity with Brazilian public bonds (LFT / Tesouro Selic) and reserve or treasury concepts.
• Progress toward a market certification (ANCORD / ANBIMA) or CFA — a plus, not a requirement.
