Project Manager (ERP Migration)

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in ERP and SAP projects to lead the successful delivery of enterprise technology initiatives. This professional will be responsible for managing cross functional teams, aligning business and technology objectives, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ERP and SAP implementation, enhancement, integration, and transformation projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Manage multiple project streams and coordinate cross functional teams, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, and Technical Consultants.

• Build and maintain project roadmaps, delivery plans, budgets, timelines, and risk management strategies.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define priorities, manage expectations, and support strategic decision making.

• Facilitate governance meetings, executive status updates, steering committees, and project reviews.

• Coordinate ERP and SAP integration initiatives with internal systems and third party applications.

• Ensure project governance, change management, issue resolution, and adherence to delivery methodologies.

• Work closely with vendors, implementation partners, and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution.

• Drive continuous process improvements and identify opportunities to optimize business processes through ERP and SAP capabilities.

• Promote best practices in project management, agile delivery, and enterprise application governance.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing ERP implementation or transformation projects.

• Experience leading SAP projects, such as S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Fiori, BW, BTP, or other SAP solutions.

• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, business processes, and system integration.

• Experience managing project scope, budget, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholders.

• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, business users, technical teams, and external vendors.

• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Excellent leadership, organization, problem solving, and decision making skills.

Nice to Have

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications.

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.

• Previous experience leading global or multinational ERP programs.

• Knowledge of cloud ERP platforms and digital transformation initiatives.

• Experience with change management and organizational transformation.
