Creative Executive, Unscripted, Local Originals Brazil

The Amazon Studios Local Originals seeks an Unscripted Creative Executive. You will have experience in development of unscripted titles, the ability to identify ideas, material and talent to build projects. Using your comprehensive knowledge of the Brazil TV and pop culture landscape and the production and director talents int he Unscripted space, you will be instrumental in building a slate of Unscripted titles that drive big conversation. You will be joining a self-motivated, passionate and collaborative team environment. This position will be São Paulo.

Key job responsibilities
• Brainstorm and push forward ideas for Unscripted projects with potential to drive big conversation.
• Seek out and recommend format proposals, scripts, and pitches.
• Work with writers to develop stories and scripts for Amazon Studios’ Unscripted Originals slate.
• Have a strong working knowledge of, and experience with, production companies and creatives.
• Provide support through all creative and logistical aspects of development, production, post-production, and launch.
• Support interactions between the Unscripted Originals department and all other Amazon Studios departments.
• Participate in internal status report, business, and Greenlight meetings pertaining to Unscripted Originals.
• Maintain a keen understanding of trends, social issues, and current events of interest to Brazilian audiences and constantly iterate on ways to address these through Unscripted Originals programming.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of creative executive experience
- Experience working with other departments such as casting, production, research, PR, business and legal affairs
- Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production
- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing unscripted concepts from idea through series launch (format proposals, pitch decks, sizzle reels, or treatments)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising or business
- Experience working as a producer, creative executive, or a similar role
- ⦁Experience developing unscripted titles that generated significant cultural conversation or social media engagement
- Track record of originating or brainstorming original unscripted concepts (not solely adapting existing formats)
- Experience with format adaptations and working with international format holders
