PURPOSE OF POSITION This role is responsible for leading and managing procurement across Brazil operations, driving strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, and supplier performance. You will work closely with global leadership teams to align procurement processes, share best practices, and leverage group-wide supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement a regional procurement strategy for Brazil aligned with business objectives and Group policies. - Drive sustainable bottom‐line growth and support Group cash targets through risk‐managed sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and services at the lowest total cost of ownership. - Support project teams by coordinating the shipment and replenishment of spare parts and additional materials, aligned with regional supply chain requirements. - Deliver performance against established company KPIs and continuously improve procurement outcomes. - Own the documentation, implementation, and regional rollout of Group procurement policies in collaboration with global stakeholders. - Support and guide site‐based purchasing teams to enhance buying behaviours and add measurable value to the procurement function. - Provide leadership, coaching, objective setting, and motivation to site‐based purchasing managers and central direct reports, fostering continuous professional development. - Lead and manage collaborative, long‐term strategic supplier relationships to ensure security of supply and delivery of sustainable cost savings. - Provide regular data, insights, and expert guidance to European commercial teams to support effective pricing and contracting decisions. - Proactively monitor external market and supply chain risks, anticipating impacts and implementing mitigation strategies. - Lead the negotiation of high‐value and strategically critical contracts. Technical & Systems - Support ERP system implementation and optimisation - Advanced Excel skills with strong data analysis capability - Experience with Power BI reporting and insights Key Requirements - Strong background in procurement and strategic sourcing within a complex organisation - Proven ability to lead supplier negotiations and manage vendor relationships effectively - Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding - Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills - High attention to detail and strong reporting capability - Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners - IT literate, with experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
