Role: Bookkeeper Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $48,000 – $72,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits. Role Overview We are hiring a Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping. The role keeps the books accurate, the bank reconciled, and the business ready for monthly close — so leadership always has clean numbers to act on. Key Responsibilities - Record daily transactions in the accounting system (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) - Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts on a weekly basis - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and bill payments - Maintain organised digital records of receipts, invoices, and supporting documents - Support monthly and quarterly close with accurate ledger entries - Work with the controller on reporting, audit prep, and process improvements Required Skills and Qualifications - 2+ years in a bookkeeping or accounting support role - Hands-on with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms - Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets - Detail-oriented with strong reconciliation discipline - Familiarity with US GAAP basics is a plus - Discretion when handling sensitive financial information What You'll Bring - Sharp analytical thinking and an instinct for spotting anomalies in data - Strong written communication and the ability to translate numbers into narrative - High attention to detail and unwavering accuracy under deadline pressure - Comfort working asynchronously across time zones What We Offer - Fully remote, flexible work hours - Performance-based bonus structure - Annual learning & development stipend - Health and wellness benefits (varies by location) - Opportunity to work on high-scale, real-world impact projects Equal Opportunity Statement This is an equal opportunity role.
