Junior Engineer (Marine/Mechanical Engineering)
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor dredging equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Adjust operations based on environmental conditions and project specs.
Perform preventive service and repair mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues.
Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of equipment and operations.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Supervise, train, and guide dredging crew members.
Collaborate to align operations with project schedules and budgets.
Track performance metrics and propose process improvements.
Provide technical solutions and prepare reports on operations and challenges.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years in dredging operations or marine engineering.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience in supervising and training teams.
Familiarity with dredging-related environmental and safety regulations.
Strong communication and reporting abilities.
