Senior Software Developer (C# /.NET)

We are looking for a remote, full-time Senior Software Developer with 5+ years of software development experience and a strong background in C# and .NET to join our U.S. client's engineering team. You will lead, develop, and enhance SaaS products used by thousands of customers. The right candidate is self-driven with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, who wants to make an impact on technology that reaches customers and consumers globally.

The ideal candidate has strong experience working with technical onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams along with modern cloud-based platforms, particularly within the AWS, Salesforce, Linode, and Heroku ecosystems, and is comfortable leading and collaborating with global cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications using C# and .NET, ensuring high-quality code standards and architectural best practices
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions
• Drive technical decision-making for system architecture, technology stack choices, and development processes while maintaining comprehensive documentation and testing strategies
• Follow agile software development processes, collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams
• Contribute to the development of cloud-based software using Node.js, React.js, TypeScript, Salesforce APEX and Lightning, PostgreSQL, AWS, MongoDB,.NET, PHP, RoR, Python, ETL/Data feeds, and Heroku
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies to improve product functionality

Required Experience

• Excellent English communication skills
• 5-10+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with expertise in C# and .NET
• Experience in Salesforce Lightning and SLDS, APEX, Batch, External Client Apps (Connected App), Remote setting, Salesforce Revenue Cloud with legacy applications, and NetSuite
• Experience in Business intelligence QuickSight developers, ETL process, and data extraction
• Strong proficiency in database design and management (Salesforce Objects and triggers, MongoDB, SQL), RESTful API development, and cloud services integration with experience in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in leading software product development projects
• Hands-on experience leading technical teams both onshore, offshore & nearshore
• Working under limited supervision and developing code for new business features based on functional and technical specs
• Decomposes features for a sprint team into tasks that can be accomplished within a sprint; Provides work BPLOE for tasks
• Understands and adheres to the area's software lifecycle process
• Communicates across and outside of the team to answer questions, resolve issues, and assess impacts on other teams of changes being made in their sprint team
• Learns and utilizes new technologies as required, serves as an expert technical resource, advisor, and mentor in one or more feature sets or technologies supported by the development team
• Provides technical mentorship and work task direction to a team of developers; able to fill the Technical Owner role on an agile sprint team, holding people accountable for task delivery
• Works with product management to groom and select Features for their area to be included in upcoming releases
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter and resourceful
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent

Desired Experience

• Knowledge of authentication systems (OAuth/OICS, OWASP security best practices, including rate limiting and data encryption
• Familiarity with AWS services, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and implement effective solutions
• Experience with DMS and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Cox/VinSolutions, DealerSocket, DealerAccess), and VIN providers (e.g., DataOne, Polk, VinPower)
• Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager (GTM), or Tag Assistant (GTA)
• Knowledge of SaaS environments and SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Roadmap Release)
• Knowledge in Business Intelligence tools, ETL, or reporting
