Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Senior Engineer - Systems Technical Support position is to remotely provide support for server and storage equipment located at customer sites.

You will work in the server environment.

We ask that you have self-initiative, ownership, a desire to follow issues to resolution, commercial sensitivity, responsiveness, collaboration, and technical expertise.You will report to the Supervisor Managed ServicesMain location : Bogota, Colombia.

We can consider other cities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : You will focus on remote managed services for data centers located in manufacturing facilities.

Have technical expertise for computer environments and will be instrumental in bridging the industrial and information technology paradigms.You will support modifying and maintaining Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory and Directory Services, and performance monitoring techniques on server software and hardware.You will support many VMware products such as vCenter, ESXi versions 6.x+, HorizonView, vSAN and must have experience managing these environments in a production environment.Provide troubleshooting assistance remotely by telephone and email on products to Rockwell Automation field service personnel, distributors, integrators, and customers.

Work with other engineers, manage and deal with high pressure situations.Investigate and verify reported product problems in software, firmware, hardware and documentation.

Document the problem, work with appropriate group to resolve the problem, and follow up with the Rockwell Automation representative or customer when the problem is solved.Provides documentation of all actions taken in the appropriate systems, set expectations with customers and follow-up on an action item or activity needed to resolve a problem being experienced by a customer.
