While Kia / Hyundai expertise is preferred, we welcome applicants with equivalent OEM hybrid / EV experience.

The role also involves mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a high-performing workshop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on hybrid and electric vehicles to OEM standardsUse manufacturer diagnostic systems, technical bulletins, and service informationComplete warranty and recall work with full documentationCarry out ADAS calibration, software updates, coding, and programmingRoad-test and verify repairs; complete job cards, VHCs, and service recordsMaintain a safe, compliant, and organised workshop environmentMentor apprentices and junior technicians; share best practicesQualificationsTrade-certified Vehicle MechanicHybrid / EV Master Technician certification (Kia / Hyundai or equivalent OEM preferred)High-Voltage (e.g., IMI Level 3) and F-Gas / Air-Con certifications (desirable)Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a dealership or OEM workshopKey SkillsExpert in hybrid / EV diagnostics and fault-finding (electrical, CAN bus, battery systems)Proficiency with OEM diagnostic platforms and digital service toolsHigh attention to detail with a right-first-time repair approachStrong communication and mentoring skillsRelocation to IrelandThis position is based in County Kerry, Ireland.
