OverviewThe Project Coordinator, Language Services supports the execution of multilingual content projects across a diverse client portfolio.
The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
This is a hands-on role focused on foundational project execution.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of localization services from AI translation to marketing transcreation to local voiceover to in-market content origination while developing core project management skills and financial acumen.
They will collaborate with colleagues in sales, creative production, and operations, gaining insight into the dynamic inner workings of a creative agency.The Project Coordinator, Language Services supports the execution of multilingual content projects across a diverse client portfolio.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and ingest files into translation management systems (primarily Wordbee and similar platforms)Brief linguists for translation, transcreation, and proofreading assignmentsTrack project progress, flag risks, and support on-time, on-budget deliveryPerform quality control checks on final deliverables before releaseMaintain project trackers, budget logs, and internal documentationCollaborate with PMs and SPMs to support execution across multiple accountsCommunicate with linguists, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflowsParticipate in team meetings and contribute to process improvementsWith experience, independently manage low-complexity projectsWith experience, contribute to internal process documentation and improvementsWith experience, begin client-facing communication for select accountsWith experience, support client relationship management updates and reporting under supervisionShadow PMs on complex projects to build skillsQualificationsDegree in a relevant field (e.g., Linguistics, a foreign language, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, Business)A combination of education and work experience may be consideredMinimum 1 year of project coordination experience in one or more of the following preferred : A communications agencyMarketing services department of an advertiserProduction facility or advertising supplierTranslation or transcreation agencyRequired SkillsExcellent written and spoken EnglishAdvanced proficiency in another language is strongly preferredStrong semantic analysis skills and passion for languagesClear, confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable in multilingual and multicultural working environmentsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skillsAble to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesComfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and creative environmentProactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to pre-empt issuesFlexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and account needsCollaborative team player who can also work independentlyAble to build productive relationships across internal and client teamsStrong proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook requiredCompetence in PowerPoint, Figma, InDesign, AirTable, and a TMS is preferredPreferred SkillsExperience in a communications agencyExperience in marketing services department of an advertiserExperience in a production facility or advertising supplierExperience in a translation or transcreation agencySeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject Management, Production, and Customer ServiceIndustriesAdvertising ServicesMarketing ServicesMedia Production
