About the position

We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer (Vue/JS) to join our UX Engineering team at our Porto Alegre office. As part of the UX Engineering team, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and evolving our frontend applications that enable clients to configure and use our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and evolve out frontend applications;
• Communicate technically with engineering teams, or discuss product features with stakeholders adapting communication speach;
• Be goal oriented and focused: have strong analytical skills and problem resolution mindset based on data;
• Be a self learner, but also be able to teach others: you are eager to learn, and take a keen eye on user experience, making sure the user will have a great time using our products;
• Be flexible in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements. Use AI for everything you can on your day-to-day;
• Build products you'll be proud: interact with Design, Backend Developers, Product Managers, and other areas.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with frontend (HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, Tailwind) and market frameworks (VueJs, Astro, React, Angular, etc);
• Experience with REST and GQL APIs;
• Experience with testing tools and layers (Jest, Cypress, PlayWright);
• Experience with UNIX development environments (we use MacBooks at Azion);
• Knowledge in state management (pinia, redux, or similar);
• Knowledge in componentization and good practices for UI and UX;
• Knowledge in HTTP requests (status codes, headers, etc);
• Good code organization and knowledge of good practices;
• Intermediate english (our code base is written in english).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with platforms for quickly prototing and deploying (Vercel, Supabase, Cloudflare, or more traditional services like AWS or GCP);
• Knowledge in good project patterns;
• Familiarity with storybook;
• Knowledge in Edge Computing or CDNs;
• Knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Understanding of Client-Side APIs (DOM, Storage, XmlHttpRequest etc);
• Knowledge in CI/CD workloads (Github Actions or similar).
