Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cloud Engineer with Data Platforms Experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, data engineering, and systems administration. The successful individual will be responsible for designing and building scalable and secure cloud infrastructure that supports data platforms, as well as developing and maintaining Python-based applications that may or may not be deployed in the cloud.

The key responsibilities of this position include :

  • Designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that meets the needs of data platforms.
  • Implementing and managing cloud-based data platforms such as BigQuery / Redshift, GCS / S3, etc.
  • Developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform / CloudFormation.
  • Implementing and managing cloud-based CI / CD workflows for infrastructure and data platform deployments.
  • Monitoring and optimizing cloud resource performance and cost.

The requirements for this position are :

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, e.g., BigQuery / Redshift, GCS / S3, and etc.
  • Infrastructure-as-code solutions, e.g., Terraform / CloudFormation.
  • Cloud-based CI / CD workflows.
  • Performance and cost optimization for cloud resources.
  • Experience with Python and familiarity with libraries such as Flask.
  • Experience with Git and Git providers, e.g., GitHub / BitBucket / GitLab.

  • Cloud-based IAM, networking, and security.
  • Experience with data orchestration frameworks, e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, dbt.
