You will translate business requirements into actionable work for development teams, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of designers, strategists, developers, and test engineers to iteratively build products that meet client needs and visions.ResponsibilitiesBuild strong relationships with client stakeholders and lead discussions around product vision and user objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to iteratively build solutions within time and budget constraintsFacilitate conversations and provide recommendations for scope management and feature prioritizationLead client journey mapping, user story mapping, and other product-oriented workshopsElicit requirements from stakeholders and manage complex backlogs across multiple platformsCollaborate with product designers and engineers to create best-in-class user experiences within technical constraintsLead technical discussions with engineers to define system architecture and data flowsContribute to the promotion of best practices, skills development, and process improvementSupport the evolution of Product Leadership discipline and adapt to changing prioritiesMentor new Product Leads and foster a growth mindsetQualifications5+ years of experience in software development as a Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Requirements Manager, Product Manager, or related roleExperience eliciting and defining requirements for multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web, Backend, etc.) with clientsAbility to quickly learn new technologies, understand constraints and platform risksStrong documentation and technical writing skills (user stories, acceptance criteria, diagrams, API documentation)Ability to size solutions based on project constraints (time / scope / budget)Working knowledge of frontend and backend technologies (web / native apps, APIs, databases)Ability to identify gaps and facilitate resolution in requirementsUnderstanding and appreciation of UX and ability to stay current with its evolutionExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsCommitment to being a trusted leader and mentorExperience creating a safe environment that welcomes and considers diverse ideasBonus PointsAgency or consulting experience across diverse clients and industriesUnderstanding of capabilities across iOS, Android, Web, and TV platformsExperience with product research and strategyKnowledge of UI / UX platforms and design thinkingCertified ScrumMaster and / or Certified Scrum Product OwnerWhy TELUS DigitalAt TELUS Digital, you'll work with world-class brands and build transformative digital products that impact millions.
