About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Principal – Architecture with strong technical leadership and deep expertise in Azure PaaS application modernization . This role focuses on designing target-state cloud architectures, leading modernization and migration efforts, and guiding engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of hands-on technical depth , architectural strategy, and the ability to lead and mentor technical teams .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute modernization and migration initiatives to Azure PaaS services (e.g., App Service, Azure Functions, AKS, Container Instances).
• Conduct application modernization assessments , develop target-state cloud architectures, and define migration roadmaps.
• Optimize hosting, performance, scalability, cost efficiency , and system reliability.
• Provide technical leadership to teams of 5+ engineers, ensuring architectural alignment and delivery excellence.
• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones following best practices for security, governance, and networking.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data, DevOps, and Integration teams to ensure end-to-end solution coherence.
• Assess and tune application performance before and after migration.
