Acquisition Editor, Life Science

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as an Acquisition Editor. In this role, you will focus on recruiting new authors and content for our Journal.

Responsibilities :

• Identify and recruit new authors, guiding them through the manuscript submission process for JoVE Journal.
• Contact potential Guest Editors and collaborate with them to build a Methods Collections, our version of a special issue.
• Establish and maintain a strong network of scientists / journal authors to drive content acquisition and grow submission rates.
• Collaborate with the peer review team to facilitate the publication of manuscripts.
• Meet or exceed monthly acquisition targets.
