Regional Finance Director (LATAM)

Regional Finance Director (LATAM) São Paulo, Brazil Our client is a leading multinational corporation operating in the equipment manufacturing industry.

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Director who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial controlling, including reporting, cost accounting, and financial analysis and planning (FP&A).

You will lead a team of 20 professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Manage cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.

Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making and drive performance improvement.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

Mentor and develop a team of 20 finance professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.

Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the Controlling function to enhance accuracy and streamline processes.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial controlling, with a focus on reporting, cost accounting, planning, and FP&A.

Experience in a multinational company and industrial environment is required.

Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, is mandatory.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading a diverse team of finance professionals.

Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
