In the DevOps culture where ownership is spread through the org, teams are accountable for their own bugs, their own deployments, and their own path to production.What You'll DoAs a Senior Quality Engineer at LawnStarter, you'll report to the Engineer Manager and you'll be in a hands-on role, responsible for the evaluation and testing of the LawnStarter platform.

You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and design teams to plan and execute manual and automated tests to ensure quality software is delivered to our customers on a daily basis.

This is a contract role.You Will AlsoCreate and execute automated and manual test cases and analyze the results with Cypress, Selenium, and / or Appium (React Native) and other programming languagesDesign and execute automated test scriptsPerform exploratory testing of existing applicationsAnalyze and anticipate process optimizations to reduce cost and improve efficiency through the software development cyclePlay a key role in evaluating and documenting departmental processes for efficiency and effectivenessAssume responsibility for quality improvements as they relate to an area within a component or a specific projectRequirementsWhat we are looking for : We're Looking For You If You're An Experienced Quality Engineer With Automation Experience Who Is Proficient In Delivering Quality Products And Building Tests Within All Levels Of The Pyramid.

More Specifically5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, including test automationProficiency in working on customer centric environment with both manual and automated testingTrack record of proactively understanding the customer journey by analyzing user sessions and identifying trends and bugsComfort in testing both front and backend web servicesSolid knowledge of SQLExperience with Javascript and / or PHP automated testing and experience with automated API testingExperience with security and accessibility testingExperience with scalability testing on cloud platformsStrong competency in testing patternsExpertise testing on various devices, mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAll team members at LawnStater are expected to embody our core values which are : Be data-driven, Get shit done, People are critical, Challenge the status quo, Be scrappy, Be the Customer.BenefitsFully remote position : Work remotely from anywhere you want.
