About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Senior CMDB & Automation Engineer to lead a high-impact project focused on the strategic redesign and implementation of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the Jira Service Management (JSM) ecosystem.

This project requires a hands-on technical consultant capable of architecting the future state of the configuration management practice, enhancing operational stability, and reinforcing the organization’s security posture. The consultant will deliver a sustainable, automated, and high-integrity CMDB that provides real-time, accurate data visibility.

Scope of Work

This engagement follows a structured, deliverable-based approach divided into key project phases :

Phase 1 : CMDB Audit & Maturity Assessment

• Conduct a comprehensive diagnostic of the existing JSM Assets environment to establish a baseline.
• Identify data quality issues, architectural limitations, and process gaps.
• Engage with key stakeholders (application owners, infrastructure, and security teams) to define essential CMDB use cases.

Phase 2 : Future-State Architecture & Governance Design

Phase 3 : Implementation & Integration

Phase 4 : Enablement & Handover
