About the Role
Asana’s Enterprise Technology team is seeking a Salesforce Developer with a passion for learning, a drive to take projects from concept to completion, and a talent for solving complex challenges with elegant solutions. This role is ideal for someone experienced in Salesforce development who’s ready to build scalable processes that enhance operational efficiency across the company, with a strong emphasis on Service Cloud and Customer Community (Experience Cloud) solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams to understand business goals and design effective Salesforce solutions.
- Design, develop, and customize Service Cloud features including case management, service console, knowledge base, and omni-channel routing.
- Implement and enhance Customer Community (Experience Cloud) portals to improve self-service capabilities, user engagement, and customer experience.
- Partner with developers and project managers on the Business Systems team to deliver high-impact initiatives.
- Build and enhance revenue attribution, pipeline automation, and approval workflows.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with strong unit test coverage.
- Develop scalable tooling frameworks to ensure consistent, high-quality releases.
- Manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment while delivering impactful solutions.
- Contribute to the long-term strategic roadmap for Salesforce architecture and implementation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS / CIS, or equivalent work experience.5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.Proven expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud and Customer Community (Experience Cloud) implementations.Salesforce Certified Platform Developer.Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce APIs, SOAP / REST web services, and SOQL.Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Copado, and CI / CD pipelines.Strong understanding of SDLC processes and enterprise integration frameworks.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-priority environments.Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant or Community Cloud Consultant (strong plus).Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Salesforce LWS).Prior experience with integration tools like SnapLogic or Boomi.SQL proficiency.
