About the RoleThe Regional & Product Policy Leader (Business Integrity) - LATAM Lead is a leadership role responsible for end-to-end ownership of advertising policy across Latin America. The role combines deep regional expertise with product and regulated-industry policy knowledge to ensure policies are consistent, enforceable, and aligned with business, regulatory, and platform integrity needs. This role serves as the primary policy lead for LATAM, acting as a trusted partner to regional and global stakeholders across Product, Legal, Sales, Risk, Enforcement, and Governance. The Lead will shape policy direction, drive decision-making on complex and sensitive issues, and ensure strong execution across markets. Responsibilities :
Regional Policy Ownership
- Own advertising policy coverage for LATAM across product formats, monetization surfaces, and regulated or sensitive industry verticals.
- Apply global policy frameworks to local market contexts, ensuring consistent interpretation while accounting for regulatory and business nuances.
- Serve as the final regional point of accountability for policy questions, escalations, and risk assessments. Policy Development & Decision-Making
- Lead policy analysis and development for LATAM-specific use cases, product launches, and market initiatives.
- Evaluate business cases, product proposals, and relaxation requests to identify risks, trade-offs, and mitigation options.
- Partner closely with Legal and global policy leads to drive clear, defensible policy decisions. Cross-Functional Partnership
- Act as the primary LATAM policy partner for Product, Sales, Legal, Risk, Enforcement, and Operations teams.
- Support aligned and timely responses to complex policy escalations and regional issues.
- Provide clear policy guidance to support go-to-market readiness and enforcement consistency. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional policy team.
- Set clear priorities, expectations, and ways of working across the LATAM policy function.
- Foster strong collaboration with global and regional counterparts to maintain alignment and knowledge sharing. Market Intelligence & Risk Monitoring
- Monitor regulatory developments, industry trends, and enforcement signals across LATAM.
- Identify emerging risks and gaps in policy coverage and propose improvements or iterations.
- Share regional insights, trends, and risks with senior stakeholders to inform global strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in advertising policy, platform policy, public policy, compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related area.
- Proven experience owning policy decisions in complex, high-risk, or ambiguous environments.
- Strong leadership experience, including managing or mentoring policy professionals.
- Experience working across multiple markets and time zones in a global organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on regulated or sensitive industry topics (., financial services, healthcare, or similar).
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Enforcement teams to operationalize policy.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and platform policy enforcement.
