About The Role

Platform Science is looking for a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join a critical team responsible for maintaining core systems that must remain stable, secure, and compliant across a wide range of technologies and challenges.

This position may also require leading and coordinating work within the team and across other groups.

Essential Responsibilities

Support tickets from various product teams covering diverse technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, and AWS.

Maintain and improve critical systems to ensure stability, security, and compliance.

Participate in and lead project work to enhance existing infrastructure.

Automate and implement systems that improve reliability and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with other teams to deliver cross-functional solutions.

Experience

Strong experience administering Kubernetes clusters.

Experience designing and implementing CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Buildkite).

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, or others.

Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Golang, or Bash.

Solid understanding of Linux distributions.

Experience with at least one major cloud provider : AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferably AWS).

Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Advanced English.

Live in Brazil.

Will be considered a plus

Proven leadership experience, including leading and coordinating engineering work.

Experience with Buildkite.

Kubernetes certifications.

Terraform certifications.

Cloud certifications.

Experience implementing and maintaining microservices.
