Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilledSnowflake Lead Developerwith strong expertise inAzure Data Factory (ADF)anddata engineering best practices .

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing scalable data architectures, building ETL / ELT pipelines, and optimizing complex SQL workloads within cloud-based environments.

You will play a key role in leading Snowflake development, implementing data transformation logic, and ensuring high-quality data delivery for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead thedesign, development, and optimizationof data solutions withinSnowflake .

Develop and maintainETL / ELT pipelinesusingAzure Data Factory (ADF)andIICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) .

Design and implementdata models, schemas, and stored procedures(SnowProc, SnowSQL) to support complex business logic and transformations.

Writeefficient, high-performing SQL queriesfor data integration and analytics.

Collaborate with architects and data engineers to definedata architecture and governance standards .

Implement robusterror handling, monitoring, and loggingmechanisms for data pipelines.

SupportCICD implementationusing Git / Bitbucket and Visual Studio for code versioning and deployment.

Work closely with onsite teams and provideproduction supportwhen required.

Applydata engineering best practices , ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Optional : UtilizeAirflow or Control-Mfor workflow orchestration and scheduling.

Required Skills & Experience

7–10 yearsof overall experience in data engineering or BI development.

2–3 yearsof strong hands-on experience inSnowflake(data architecture, analytics, and development).

Mastery ofSQL— deep experience writing optimized, complex queries in large-scale environments.

Expertise inSnowProcandSnowSQL , including writing Snowflake stored procedures and scripts for transformations.

Experience withAzure Data Factory (ADF)for orchestrating data pipelines.

Proficiency inIICS (Informatica Cloud)for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.

Familiarity withdata integration, modeling, and ETL / ELT best practices .

Hands-on experience withCICD pipelines , version control (Git / Bitbucket), andVisual Studio .

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Willingness towork flexible hoursto coordinate with global teams.

Nice to Have

Knowledge ofAirfloworControl-Mfor workflow scheduling.

Experience working inimplementation and supportprojects.

Exposure todata governance, metadata management, or cloud cost optimization .
