Senior Mobile Engineer

We are seeking a remote, full-time Senior Mobile Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development to work for our U.K. / U.S. client.

Candidates must have a strong background in native or cross-platform framework development to make tech stack and architectural decisions, as well as build an initial MVP that will become a core tool powering the client's operations and data delivery.The project must start by mid-November

They combine data, science, and technology to help enterprises value and restore nature, creating measurable environmental and economic impact.ResponsibilitiesTake complete ownership of the development of a mobile application that will become a core tool powering the client's operations and data deliveryDeliver a robust, performant MVP that supports offline usability, reliable data sync, and scalable architectureDesign and implement the complete lifecycle architecture, development, QA, and deployment in coordination with the Tech LeadCollaborate with product and platform engineers to ensure consistency of data models and APIsGuide the client's future mobile technology choices (native vs. hybrid), embedding best practices and maintainable patterns from the startRequired ExperienceExcellent English communication skills5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development for both iOS and AndroidDeep expertise with native development (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, React Native) and proven experience delivering to production OR experience with cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter), combined with comfort extending native featuresStrong understanding of offline data handling, synchronization, and API-driven integrationExperience balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term scalabilityExcellent communication and ability to self-manage in a distributed teamTrack record of building professional, high-quality, and on-time softwareProven delivery experience in a vibrant, dynamic startup environmentDesired ExperienceUniversity degree or relevant industry experienceAdditional InformationEnjoy a fun, fast-growing entrepreneurial companyBe part of a highly collaborative learning culture, share knowledge, be inclusive, learn, and grow together.
