You'll be part of a collaborative environment where clear communication and code quality are top priorities.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using ElixirCollaborate with distributed teams across different time zonesEnsure high standards of code quality, performance, and reliabilityParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planningTroubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance and scalabilityRequirements5+ years of professional backend development experience3+ years of hands-on Elixir development experienceStrong knowledge of OTP, Phoenix framework, and functional programming principlesExperience working on high-traffic, scalable applicationsFamiliarity with relational and NoSQL databasesSolid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systemsPrior experience working with US-based or international teamsExcellent communication skills in English (C1 – Advanced)Nice to HaveExperience with GraphQL or event-driven architecturesKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization / orchestration toolsFamiliarity with CI / CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
