About the job : The Specialist in the Quality and Engineering department is a highly experienced professional who takes a leadership role in quality management and technical reference.

They are responsible for overseeing and directing high complex quality control processes, leading strategic improvements, and ensuring the company's adherence to industry's best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities : Assist to oversee quality control and engineering processes for the landing gear MRO.

Develop and implement comprehensive quality improvement programs to enhance operational performance.

Technical guidance for analysts, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, manuals and best practices.

Perform advanced analysis of data, lead root cause investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Manage and ensure compliance with all aerospace regulations, quality certifications (ANAC, FAA, ISO 9001, etc.) and approved technical data (CMMs and other manufacture manuals).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain and planning to ensure seamless quality management.

Support internal and external audits, providing technical support and assistance during regulatory inspections and certifications.

Develop and report on key quality performance indicators, identifying areas for process optimization and cost reduction.

Be the technical reference in strategic decision-making regarding quality and process improvements.

Work Experience : +5 Years of experience working in an aeronautical industry with quality and / or engineering.

Strong experience with quality auditing process (aeronautical authorities (FAA, ANAC, EASA), supplier qualification and aeronautical departments).

Educational : Technical degree or Graduation (Engineering, Quality or Technical) concluded with Post graduation / master's degree in concluded.

Advanced / Fluent English is mandatory Technical Skills : Advanced quality tools, drawing interpretations (development is a plus), in-depth knowledge of aeronautical authorities' regulations (FAA, EASA, ANAC) and ISO 9001 standard or related audit standard requirements.

Obs.

: Office and shop floor setting in a regulated aerospace maintenance facility.

May require occasional hands-on inspections or shop visits involving PPE and exposure to aircraft components and tooling.

Work may involve tight deadlines and collaboration across departments.

Location : 100% in office position at Rio de Janeiro.
