Your core expertise will be in Java and Spring Boot, building performant, scalable APIs and backend systems.

You'll also collaborate on frontend work in React / TypeScript to deliver seamless, end-to-end user experiences.You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to architect new features, improve existing systems, and solve complex problems that help borrowers and lenders connect more efficiently.

This role reports directly to the Head of Product.What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring BootArchitect and optimize backend systems for scalability, security, and performanceIntegrate backend services with React / TypeScript frontend applicationsContribute to frontend development where needed — building UI components, integrating APIs, and ensuring responsive designCollaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams to turn requirements into technical solutionsWork with relational and non-relational databases to store and retrieve application dataWrite comprehensive tests for backend (JUnit) and frontend (Vitest) componentsDebug and resolve issues across the full stack, from database queries to UI renderingStay current with emerging backend and frontend technologies, contributing to technical decisions and best practicesWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience5+ years of professional software development experience in an agile environmentStrong expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot 3, and RESTful API developmentFamiliarity with React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for frontend workFamiliarity with Event Driven Architectures (Kafka mainly)Proficiency in authentication flows (OAuth)Proficiency in database design and querying (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git / GitHub)Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeStrong problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively across teamsInterest in Fintech and a passion for building tools that improve access to capitalInterest in using AI-based tooling to accelerate workflow (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)Bonus PointsExperience deploying applications in AWS or similar cloud environmentsFamiliarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace or ELK stackFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and build automation toolsKnowledge of OpenAPI specification and on demand code generationPDF templating experienceJob Type : Full-timePay : R$20, R$25,000.00 per month
