Job Title : Marketing Automation Specialist (Sales Funnels Design)
1. Role Overview
The client is a digital marketing agency located on the West Coast. We are seeking a strategic and analytical Funnel Designer / Strategist to help design and optimize high-converting sales funnels for a well-known public speaker and digital course creator.
This role focuses on strategy, structure, and conversion flow —not coding. You’ll map the user journey from initial ad click to final purchase, ensuring every step is optimized to engage, convert, and retain customers. The ideal candidate is experienced in funnel architecture, understands marketing psychology, and can craft seamless, data-driven pathways that turn interest into revenue.
2. Responsibilities
- Design, map, and document full funnel strategies for digital courses and coaching products.
- Analyze and improve the customer journey from Ad → Landing Page → Webinar → Email Sequence → Upsell / Downsell Paths .
- Develop funnel flowcharts and logic maps that guide the technical and creative teams.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure message alignment, page structure, and conversion consistency.
- Recommend and test variations in funnel flow, copy, and layout to boost conversion rates.
- Provide copy direction and strategic guidance for landing pages, webinars, and email automations.
- Audit existing funnels to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with developers to ensure accurate funnel implementation and tracking.
- Use analytics tools to monitor funnel performance and suggest data-driven optimizations.
3. Qualifications
Proven experience designing and optimizing sales funnels for online courses, coaches, or digital products .Strong understanding of marketing psychology , lead nurturing, and customer behavior.Ability to plan and document conversion flows, automation sequences, and user journeys.Hands-on familiarity with email marketing tools (Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar).Strong communication and organizational skills; able to collaborate across creative and technical teams.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret funnel data and recommend actionable improvements.4. Qualifications
Experience using GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels, CartFlows , or other funnel-building platforms.Basic familiarity with web analytics tools ( Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager , etc.).Ability to plan and document conversion flows, automation sequences, and user journeys.Hands-on familiarity with email marketing tools (Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar).Strong communication and organizational skills; able to collaborate across creative and technical teams.5. Preferred Qualifications
Background in digital marketing, copywriting, or performance optimization .Strong understanding of marketing psychology , lead nurturing, and customer behavior.Previous experience working with speakers, educators, or online coaches.Understanding of A / B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.6. Schedule
Part-time (10–20 hours per week) with flexible scheduling.Ability to overlap at least a few hours with Pacific Time (PST) for team coordination.Long-term collaboration potential based on project success and performance.
